Meeting Place: Car park meeting area is at the end of Cureton St at the entrance to Anderson Park next to Morrinsville Recreation Grounds. Look out for the Auckland & Waikato Beagle Club flags. There are toilets at the park. PLEASE NOTE - WE GO RAIN HAIL OR SHINE!

Route: A very pleasant walk following the river in the heart of Morrinsville. Highlights include a waterfall and a great playground for kids in the recreation grounds. A scenic trail through a forest with mature native trees. Mostly flat metal/dirt track and concrete suitable for pushchairs.

Directions:

• From Auckland head south to Taupiri on SH 1
• Take the Taupiri/Gordonton off ramp onto Gordonton Road - through 2 roundabouts
• Stay on ST highway 1B towards Gordonton & Cambridge - travel about 12.5 Km
• Turn left onto Piako road (SH 26)- signs for Morrinsville - 21Km
• Stay on st 26 past the New World (on left) round sharp right bend then right onto Lorne Street
• Right onto Cureton Street - Carpark at the end of the Road.

Walk Time: Approximately 40 minutes.
