Beagle Walk- Browns Bay Beach, North Shore - Sunday, 19 May 2024

Parking: Car park at the end of Anzac Road and other car parks nearby
Meeting Place: Car park at the end of Anzac Road (or anywhere you can find one close by). Look out for the Auckland Beagle Club flag on the beach nearby- close to the brown toilet block (photo below).
Route: The walk is mostly flat but there are a couple of moderate hills. Concrete footpaths throughout and it’s on lead at all times. There is a very large child’s play area on the beach and toilets are available on the walk. The walk will start at the beach and then around the streets until we pass through Freyburg Park and sports fields and into Sherwood ( no Robin Hood sadly but there may be ducks in the stream) before heading back to the beach.
Directions: From the Northern motorway take the Greville Road exit. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Arran Road, which becomes Nigel Rd. Turn right into Glencoe Rd and at the end continue onto Anzac Rd.
Walk Time: Approximately 60 minutes.
On leash/Off leash: This is an on leash area.
