Route: This is a coastal walk along a trail which starts at Mairangi Bay and ends at Murrays Bay and then return loop. It’s a concrete path which is hilly at times but the views are lovely. It’s an onlead walk and is approx 4km.
Directions: Northern Motorway- get off at Tristram Ave. Use the right two lanes
and follow signs for East Coast bays/Forrest Hill. Turn left onto Forrest Hill Rd and at the roundabout take 2nd exit onto East Coast Rd heading to Mairangi Bay. Turn right onto Matipo Rd and right again onto Ramsgate Tce. At the roundabout take 2nd exit onto Montrose Tce.
Walk Time: Approximately 60 minutes.

Cup of Tea anyone? The club will be providing free morning tea and snacks for members. Non-members welcome to morning tea for a koha coin donation. Please note that due to covid cases in the community, and for the safety of all, we will be supplying only individually wrapped snacks and bottled water/juice. We won’t be encouraging socializing (of two legged members) at this time -until the case numbers start dropping. We hope everyone understands and enjoys the walk.
Remember: VACCINE PASS is required to join the walk and we ask that you stay socially distanced and remain home if feeling unwell. It is advisable not to leave any valuables in vehicles, and to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for poor weather conditions and off-road walking.
Don’t forget to take water and poo bags for your dogs.

Non members are welcome to attend up to three of our beagle walks, after that, we would love for you to become a member. Membership fee is $20 per year and includes benefits such as snacks and drinks after some of the walks, and a regular newsletter.
Please always bring doggy doo bags and leads.
